The team at Hott Salons first took on OBM after hearing about it through multiple sources. Alongside their Phorest Success Manager introducing the solution, the team at Hott heard other salons speaking about OBM, detailing how it was delivering results for them.


As an innovative business always looking for new marketing opportunities, Hott was interested in getting involved, and was especially interested in how OBM could help them introduce new services to their visitors.

“Not only did [OBM] further our advertising [of hair extension services], but it also brought in guests for other services as well. Some of them would come in for consultations, and not only would they get the hair extensions, but they would look at other services, too,” said Meagan.

According to Meagan, many clients who came in for a single hair extension consultation ended up not only purchasing extension packs and booking installations, but also paired these services with styling and blowout add-ons.

This cross-service discovery boosted revenue while also creating new opportunities for the salon to build longer, stickier relationships with clients.


Something that Meagan and the Hott Salons team are conscious of is not overwhelming their clients with too many emails or promotions. Instead, they focus on sending targeted and relevant communications that add value for their guests.
